Small Haul and Tiny Reviews/First Impressions
Hello again, sorry for not updating much lately, but... I ... am... back!
Today, I was going to pick up my new camera from Tescos, so obviously... I went a bit crazy...
As you can see, I had a little splurge on things that, in fact, I didn't need. Now, straight this puts them in a bad light but so far, from what I've tried, they are amazing.
Let's start off with the main products, basically the first two products i'm going to mention are just general repurchases. I have the Tesco Cotton Pads and just normal black ankle socks. Now, onto the beauty!
As you can see I got the Nivea Express Hydration Primer; which in fact comes in a glass jar- which makes it all the more cuter! Taking the foil off, I tried some that was left on it on the back of my hand, and it feels so soft.
Next, I have the Nivea BB Cream, now this was a complete impulse buy, but I was dying to try a BB Cream and this caught my eye- i'm hoping this will be amazing- but stay tuned!
I also bought the Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser Skin Conditioner, this is quite new. When I first heard about this (in my Cosmopolitan magazine) I got a sample and I was delighted to try it out, I applied it to my knees and elbows and let me tell you- they were as soft as a baby's bottom when I got out the shower! As soon as I tried that sample, I was determined to get a full size- and I did!
Next, I bought the Batiste Dry Shampoo, and the L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray. These have been raved so much on YouTube and in the blogger world. I must admit I am late on the bandwagon with these products but i'm excited to try them. Let me know what you think about them in the comments.
Lastly, I bought the Pearl Drops Pro White Toothpaste. I've been trying to find cheap and easy ways to whiten my teeth and I saw these on the shelf and they were a bargain! Plus, they were on sale- I couldn't pass up that offer now could I?
So I hope you enjoyed this lovely little update, comment down below if you love any of the products I have mentioned, i'd love to know what you think!
Much Love,
Much Love,
Alex

Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Pro Primer
Hi guys!. I'm back with another review and if you haven't guessed by the title, it's about the Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Pro Primer.
I purchased this maybe 6 months ago so I think i'm ready to give my opinion on it. Firstly, it claims to be a 5 in 1 product:
- Smoothes
- Resurfaces
- Brightens
- Mattifies
- Protects
Now, we all want a longer lasting effect from a primer don't we? Of course we do. Rimmel Londons primer will make your makeup last longer but only for maybe another hour- again this is my opinion, I have combination to oily skin and this is my experience. I don't think this will help with really oily people- for example Missglamorazzi on youtube, it would work better for drier skins. I still urge you to go out and try it.
I hope you really liked this and please comment- i'd love to read your thoughts on it aswell and I will talk to you soon, bye!
Much love,
Alex

Chocolate Lip Scrub?!
Hi guys!
Okay, so today I was experimenting and I made a Chocolate Lip Scrub. Now, you don't really find cheap lip scrubs that actually work- at least for me. So, I decided to make one and it's very easy to do, and all the ingredients can be found around your house!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of coco powder
1 tablespoon of sugar -white or brown.
2 tables spoons of Petroleum Jelly/Vaseline or
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Container (with lid)
Bowl (not plastic or metal)
Spoon
Before I tell you the instructions, I have to say something-
If you use the Petroleum jelly or Vaseline it makes the lip scrub more solidified but if you use olive oil it's also very easy to use, just not as solid. You can use both if you want to but I only had Petroleum jelly around the house. Also, adjust the amount of the ingredients to fit your container.
If you don't use Petroleum jelly skip to Step 2!
1. If you use Petroleum jelly your going to have to melt it so scoop up the desired amount and pop it into a bowl (make sure it's not plastic or metal!) then depending on the amount you have scooped up pop it into the micro wave for 30 seconds to 2 minutes-obviously longer if you have used more of it.
2. After the petroleum jelly has melted, you can scoop the rest of the ingredients into a bowl, that's including the olive oil if you did not use Petroleum jelly; and mix, add more of a specific ingredient to make it your desired consistency.
3. After it is all mixed pop it into you container-do not put the lid on yet! Place into the freezer for about 6-8 minutes.
4. After, the time is up, clean around the sides of the container, pop the lid on, and enjoy!
I love this idea and I made it probably a year ago, and it's still kicking around my beauty box! I hoped you liked it and i'll see you soon!
Much Love,
Alex

Lush Grease Lightning
Hello guys!
It's Alex here and I just wanted to tell you about a miracle product that has saved me from many spot nightmares and that is the Lush Grease Lightning.
Okay, so, I was looking for a fast acting acne treatment that wasn't that expensive- and I've found it.
This product is like a re-discovery, because I did use it absolutely ages ago, but I put it to one side because my skin got much better after using it. However, I've been reaching for it much more often as my skin has been breaking out so much lately.
I've realised just why I loved it so much. First, you just pump it out and it comes out as a clear gel. I use it at night and in the morning my skin will look so much more better. Over the past 2 years, I've had 5 bottles, and I know that may seem a bit much but it comes in a 45g bottle, which isn't a lot but it lasts a really long way.
For application, I just put a pump on my hand and rub it a tiny bit on my fingers. I then just apply it how you would with a typical moisturiser and then go to sleep in it.
When you wake up, your skin feels so much more smoother and you'll be really surprised at how well it works!
Plus, the cute name for it is just adorable! I love Grease the movie so it was a bonus!
Either way, I adore this product and it's probably one of my holy grail product for skin care!
Hope you liked and I look forward to seeing you again!
Much love,
Alex
